Optický kabel Helos 7,5 m OM4 LC/LC

The Helos 7.5m OM4 LC/LC fibre optic cable provides multimode connectivity with a 50 µm core diameter and LC connectors on both ends. Designed for full duplex transmission, this 7.5-metre cable supports simultaneous bidirectional data flow and is intended for high-performance networking environments such as data centres and enterprise installations. The OM4 multimode grading enables higher bandwidth over moderate distances compared with lower OM classes, making the cable suitable for modern switched and server interconnects that require consistent optical performance.

Advantages

This OM4 LC/LC patch cable combines a standardized 50 µm multimode core with LC terminations to offer compact connector size and reliable mating performance. Full duplex capability allows separate transmit and receive channels for low-latency, symmetric links. The 7.5 m length is practical for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-patch panel runs inside cabinets and wiring closets. The product is manufactured to industry multimode specifications to ensure predictable insertion loss and return loss characteristics appropriate for enterprise networking use.

Suitable for

• Data centre uplinks between switches and servers
• Patch panel to switch connections in enterprise racks
• High-bandwidth multimode applications such as 10G/40G/100G over supported distances
• Server room cabling and structured network installations

Key specifications

• Cable type: Multimode fibre (OM4)
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC
• Length: 7.5 metres
• Transmission mode: Full duplex

How to use

Install the Helos OM4 LC/LC cable by aligning and inserting each LC connector into the corresponding LC port on your networking equipment, patch panel or transceiver module. Ensure connectors are clean before mating to minimise insertion loss; use appropriate fibre cleaning tools if required. Route the cable through cable management paths keeping bending within recommended radii and avoid sharp kinks. For full duplex links, connect each end so that transmit and receive channels correspond to the intended ports on both devices.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, store and handle the cable in a clean environment, keep LC dust caps in place when not connected, and follow equipment vendor guidance on supported link distances for OM4 multimode fibre at required data rates.
