Optický kabel Helos 2 m OM4 LC/LC

The Helos 2m OM4 LC/LC fibre optic cable is engineered for high-speed data transmission in professional network environments. Constructed to OM4 multimode specifications with a 50 µm core diameter, this 2-metre duplex patch cable features LC connectors on both ends for compact, reliable connections. It is intended for links that require low loss and high bandwidth, supporting applications in data centers, server rooms and enterprise networks where performance and signal integrity are essential.

Advantages

The OM4 specification provides improved bandwidth and extended reach compared with lower multimode grades, enabling higher-speed links and greater channel capacity. LC connectors offer a small form factor and secure duplex connection, which helps save space in dense patch panels and equipment ports. The 2 m length balances convenience and minimized signal attenuation for short to medium interconnects, and the cable is prepared to deliver stable performance in typical indoor networking installations.

Suitable for

• Short to medium distance links in data centers and server rooms
• High-speed multimode network connections (10G/40G/100G where OM4 is supported)
• Patch panels, network switches, transceivers and active equipment with LC ports
• Enterprise LAN backbone and rack-to-rack connections

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM4
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC, duplex
• Length: 2 metres
• Polish/connector finish: industry-standard for LC connectors
• Designed for indoor installation and patching applications

How to use

Plug each LC connector into the corresponding LC port on networking equipment, ensuring the duplex orientation matches the transmit and receive pairs. Avoid excessive bending of the fibre cable and route it through appropriate cable management to prevent stress on connectors. Verify link integrity and optical power levels using appropriate test equipment or transceiver diagnostics after installation.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, maintain bend radii above the minimum specified for OM4 multimode fibre, keep connector endfaces clean using approved cleaning tools before mating, and use dust caps when connectors are not in use. Choose OM4 cabling where higher bandwidth and future-proofing for 10G and above multimode links are required.
