Microconnect FIB447015 optický patch kabel 15 m

The Microconnect FIB447015 is a 15-meter single mode fiber patch cable designed for enterprise networks, telecom rooms, server farms and cloud storage networks where reliable fiber jumper connections are required. It supports high-speed Ethernet links including 1G, 10G, 40G and 100G, and is specified to carry data up to 10 km at 1310 nm or up to 40 km at 1550 nm. The cable uses a low-smoke zero-halogen (LSZH) jacket and is manufactured to conform with common industry standards for fiber infrastructure.

Advantages

The single mode construction provides low attenuation for long-distance transmission. The 15 m length offers flexibility for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-equipment connections without excess slack. An LSZH outer jacket reduces harmful smoke and corrosive gas emission in case of fire and meets common installation safety requirements. The cable is suitable for high-speed Ethernet applications and is compatible with standard optical transceivers and patch panels.

Suitable for

• Enterprise network backbone and edge connections
• Telecom rooms and data center racks
• Server farms and cloud storage interconnects
• High-speed Ethernet links (1G/10G/40G/100G)

Key specifications

• Fiber type: single mode
• Length: 15 m
• Jacket material: LSZH (low-smoke zero-halogen)
• Transmission distance: up to 10 km at 1310 nm, up to 40 km at 1550 nm
• Application: optical patch/patch cord for Ethernet and data center links

How to use

Connect one end of the fiber patch cable to the optical transceiver or port on your network device and the other end to the corresponding transceiver or patch panel port. Ensure connectors are clean before mating to minimise signal loss. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension; follow standard fiber handling practices and installation rules for patch cords in racks and cable management panels.

Recommendations

Use this single mode fiber patch cable for point-to-point links within data centers and telecom spaces. Clean connector endfaces with appropriate fiber cleaning tools before installation and avoid bending below the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius to maintain signal integrity.
