Optický kabel Microconnect FIB222002 InfiniBand 2 m SC modrý

The Microconnect FIB222002 is a 2 m OM3 multimode bend-insensitive fibre optic cable with SC connectors on both ends. With a 50/125 µm core/cladding and LSZH jacket, this blue duplex cable supports high-speed links such as 10G SR, 10G LRM and SFP+ transceivers for 10G/40G/100G Ethernet and is suitable for InfiniBand and other short-range data applications.

Advantages

Bend-insensitive OM3 multimode construction reduces attenuation when the cable is bent or twisted compared with traditional multimode fibres, making installation and maintenance easier in dense cabling environments. The LSZH jacket meets common industry standards and the SC–SC duplex termination provides reliable, easy-to-connect interfacing for network equipment.

Suitable for

• 10G SR and 10G LRM links
• SFP+ transceiver connections
• 10G/40G/100G short-range Ethernet
• InfiniBand and data centre patching

How to use

Connect each SC connector to the corresponding SC port on network equipment or patch panels, ensuring correct duplex orientation. Route the cable with gentle bends respecting minimum bend radii; the bend-insensitive design tolerates tighter routing but avoiding sharp kinks preserves performance. Verify link status on connected devices and, if needed, test attenuation with appropriate fibre testers.

Recommendations

Use this 2 m OM3 SC–SC cable for short-range multimode links in racks and patch panels; keep cable runs tidy and avoid tight knots. For links beyond multimode reach or when single-mode transceivers are used, select an appropriate single-mode fibre cable.
