InLine optický duplexní kabel SC/SC 50/125µm OM5 5m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable SC/SC 50/125µm OM5 5m is a duplex multimode fiber patch cable designed for high-speed data links and reliable signal transmission. With a 50 µm core diameter and OM5 classification, the cable supports short- and medium-range multimode applications and enables transmission across multiple wavelengths. Both ends are equipped with SC push-pull connectors for straightforward installation into standard networking equipment.

Advantages

This duplex fiber cable provides consistent attenuation characteristics and low insertion loss typical of 50/125 µm multimode fibers, while the OM5 specification extends capability for wavelength-division multiplexing within multimode environments. The SC/SC connector pair offers a secure mechanical connection and easy handling during patching. The 5 m length is convenient for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-equipment connections in communication closets and data centers.

Suitable for

• Short- and medium-distance data center interconnects
• Patch panels and fiber distribution frames
• High-speed LAN and enterprise network links
• Applications requiring multimode wavelength-division multiplexing

Key specifications

• Fiber type: OM5 multimode
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Connector type: SC to SC duplex
• Length: 5 m
• Mode: Duplex
• Typical use: Multimode fiber patching and linking

How to use

Connect the SC connectors to corresponding SC ports on transceivers, patch panels, or networking devices, ensuring correct polarity for duplex transmission. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain a bend radius consistent with multimode fiber recommendations. Verify link integrity with appropriate testing equipment after installation to confirm attenuation and continuity values meet system requirements.

Recommendations

Store and handle the fiber cable in a clean environment, keep connector endfaces protected with dust caps until installation, and use appropriate cleaning tools before mating connectors. Avoid exceeding recommended bend radius and protect the cable from sharp edges or crush forces to preserve signal performance.
