InLine sériový kabel DB9 samec / samec přímý 5 m

The InLine serial cable DB9 male/male direct 5m is a 5‑metre beige data cable with 9‑pin Sub D (DB9) male connectors on both ends. It provides a straightforward wired link for serial communication between PCs, servers and peripheral devices that use RS‑232 style connectors. The cable is intended for point‑to‑point data transmission where a direct male/male DB9 connection is required.

Advantages

This InLine DB9 male/male cable offers a clear pinout for standard serial connections and a durable jacket suitable for typical office and server-room use. Its 5 m length allows flexible device placement without the need for immediate relocation, and the fixed male/male configuration simplifies connection to devices with female DB9 ports.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers and servers to serial peripherals (printers, UPS, modems)
• Linking industrial controllers and legacy equipment with DB9 ports
• Serial communication and configuration tasks for network switches and routers

Ensure both devices are powered off when connecting or disconnecting if recommended by the device manufacturer. After physical connection, configure serial port settings (baud rate, parity, data bits, stop bits, flow control) in the host and peripheral devices as required for your application.

Recommendations

For stable communication, avoid sharp bends and prolonged strain on the connectors. Use the cable in environments that match its intended office or server-room use; for harsh industrial environments consider shielded or industrial-grade alternatives if additional protection is required.
