Nullmodem kabel InLine DB9 samice/DB25 samice 2m béžový

The InLine null modem cable connects two PCs, notebooks or servers via their serial COM ports using a DB9 female to DB25 female wiring. With a length of 2 m and a beige jacket, the cable is intended for direct serial communication and compatible with devices that require a null modem pinout. Note: pay attention to the PIN assignment when installing.

Advantages

This null modem cable provides direct device-to-device serial communication without the need for modems or additional converters. The 2 m length offers moderate reach for typical desktop or rack environments. Connectors are standard DB9 (9-pin Sub D) and DB25 female, ensuring compatibility with legacy equipment that uses RS-232-style COM ports.

Suitable for

• Direct serial data exchange between two computers or servers
• Connecting legacy equipment that uses DB9 or DB25 COM ports
• System configuration, firmware updates or console access via serial ports

Ensure both devices are powered off or that their serial ports support hot-plugging before connecting. Verify the PIN assignment if communication fails.

Recommendations

Check device documentation for the correct pinout and RS-232 settings before use. Avoid routing the cable near strong electromagnetic sources to reduce interference, and secure connections to prevent accidental disconnection during data transfer.
