USB 3.2 Gen1 kabel A na A ProXtend USB3AA-002, samec–samec, 2 m

ProXtend USB3AA-002 is a 2 m USB 3.2 Gen1 A‑to‑A male‑to‑male cable engineered for high-speed data transfer between devices with standard Type‑A ports. It provides a straightforward wired connection for hubs, external hard drives, docking stations and other peripherals where a direct USB A‑to‑A link is supported. The 2 m length enables flexible device placement and tidier cable routing in home and office environments while maintaining compatibility with USB 3.2 Gen1 transfer rates.

Advantages

The cable supports USB 3.2 Gen1 bandwidth up to 5 Gbps theoretical, allowing faster file transfers compared with USB 2.0. Its standardized Type‑A male connectors on both ends ensure simple plug‑and‑play operation with compatible ports without requiring additional adapters. The 2 m length balances reach and manageability for desktop setups and peripheral connections. The cable’s construction provides durable signal conductors and insulation suitable for everyday use.

Suitable for

• Connecting external hard drives and SSD enclosures to computers with Type‑A ports
• Linking USB hubs and docking stations to host PCs where A‑to‑A is supported
• Temporary direct connections between compatible peripherals and hosts during data transfer
• Home and office setups that require a 2 m A‑to‑A USB cable for flexible placement

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB Type‑A male to USB Type‑A male
• USB standard: USB 3.2 Gen1 (backward compatible with USB 2.0/1.1)
• Theoretical maximum data rate: up to 5 Gbps
• Cable length: 2 meters
• Weight: 0.09 kg

How to use

Insert each USB Type‑A male connector into the corresponding Type‑A ports on the host device and the peripheral. Ensure both devices support direct A‑to‑A connections for the intended use case; where a port expects a specific host/device role, consult device documentation before connecting. Once plugged in, operating systems typically recognize connected drives, hubs or docking stations automatically; follow on‑screen prompts for any driver installation or safe removal procedures.

Recommendations

Use this cable for data transfer and peripheral connections between devices that explicitly support Type‑A to Type‑A links. Avoid using the cable to attempt direct connections between two host‑only ports that do not support device mode to prevent possible port conflicts. For longer runs or different connector types, choose an appropriate cable or adapter that matches your device interfaces and data rate requirements.
