InfiniBand/optický kabel BlueOptics JH695A-BL 3 m SFP+ samec/samec

The BlueOptics JH695A-BL 3 m InfiniBand/fibre optic cable with SFP+ Male/Male connectors is designed for high-speed data links in server rooms, data centres and storage networks. This 3-metre cable supports reliable optical transmission between SFP+ ports, offering a compact, plug-and-play connection for compatible switches, adapters and host bus adapters. The cable’s blue jacket provides clear visual identification in structured cabling environments.

Advantages

The cable delivers low-latency, high-bandwidth connectivity suitable for InfiniBand and SFP+ environments, with male-to-male SFP+ terminations that simplify direct device-to-device connections. Its 3 m length balances reach and signal integrity for short to medium interconnects. The optical design reduces electromagnetic interference and supports stable data transmission in dense rack installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting SFP+ ports on switches, servers and storage arrays
• High-speed InfiniBand links in cluster and HPC environments
• Short to medium reach optical interconnects in data centres
• Upgrading existing copper links to optical SFP+ connections

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP+ male to SFP+ male
• Length: 3 m
• Cable type: fibre optic / InfiniBand compatible
• Colour: blue
• Designed for high-bandwidth, low-latency optical links

How to use

Ensure both devices support SFP+ optical connections and power them off or follow hot-swap procedures recommended by the device manufacturer. Align the SFP+ plugs with the module receptacles and insert until the latching mechanism engages. Verify link status through device LEDs or management interfaces after insertion. To remove, depress the latch and pull the connector straight out to avoid damaging the port.

Recommendations

Use the cable in temperature-controlled indoor environments and avoid tight bends or kinks. Route the cable to minimize stress on connectors and keep it away from sources of mechanical damage. Check compatibility with your SFP+ modules and firmware to ensure full functionality.
