InfiniBand/optický kabel Extralink EX.2268 1 m SFP+ DAC černý

The Extralink EX.2268 InfiniBand/fibre optic cable 1 m SFP+ DAC Black is a 1-metre direct attach copper (DAC) cable with SFP+ connectivity designed for 10G data links. It supports full duplex communication and is intended for reliable, short-reach high-speed connections in data centers, storage area networks and networking equipment. The cable provides a compact, low-latency link between SFP+ ports while keeping power consumption and operating costs low.

Advantages

This Extralink SFP+ DAC cable delivers 10 Gbps transmission over a 1 m distance with low latency and minimal signal loss typical of direct attach copper assemblies. Its SFP+ form factor enables high port density and simple hot-pluggable installation. As a passive copper solution, it reduces the need for optical transceivers, lowering both acquisition and ongoing power costs. The cable is suitable for dense rack environments and short interconnects where consistent performance and compatibility with standard SFP+ ports are required.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• High-speed interconnects between switches and routers with SFP+ ports
• Connections in SAN and NAS storage environments
• Server-to-switch links in data centre rack deployments

Key specifications

• Connector type: SFP+ to SFP+
• Length: 1 metre
• Data rate: up to 10 Gbps
• Cable type: direct attach copper (DAC)
• Duplex mode: full duplex
• Colour: black

How to use

Insert each SFP+ connector firmly into the corresponding SFP+ port on the devices to be linked, ensuring the latch engages. Use the cable for short-reach connections up to 1 m; avoid excessive bending or strain near the connectors. The cable is hot-pluggable — power down is not required for insertion or removal unless specified by the connected equipment's manufacturer. Verify link status on both devices after connection and confirm that SFP+ mode and speed settings match on both ends.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, route the cable away from high-heat sources and sharp edges, maintain bend radii recommended by the equipment vendor, and confirm compatibility with your network hardware's SFP+ ports. Use the Extralink SFP+ DAC cable for short, direct connections inside racks or between adjacent rack units to maximise signal integrity and minimise latency.
