BlueOptics QSFP-AOC-7M-CO-BO InfiniBand optický kabel 7m samec/samec

The BlueOptics QSFP-AOC-7M-CO-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable is a 7-meter active optical cable with QSFP male-to-male connectors designed for high-speed data transmission in data centre and networking environments. Built for low latency and high bandwidth, this cable connects QSFP ports on switches, servers and storage arrays to support InfiniBand links and other QSFP-compatible interfaces. Its 7 m length provides flexible routing between racks or within equipment cabinets while maintaining signal integrity over the full run.

Advantages

This active QSFP-AOC cable reduces electromagnetic interference compared with copper alternatives and minimizes signal attenuation across the 7 m span. The QSFP male connectors offer a compact, high-density interface that supports high throughput and low latency suitable for InfiniBand networks. The cable’s optical design ensures consistent performance for demanding data centre workloads and reduces the need for additional transceivers or media converters.

Suitable for

• Connecting QSFP ports between switches and routers in data centre racks
• Linking servers and storage systems with QSFP interfaces for InfiniBand connectivity
• High-performance computing clusters requiring low-latency, high-bandwidth links
• Short- to medium-distance optical interconnects inside equipment cabinets

Key specifications

• Connector type: QSFP male to QSFP male
• Cable type: Active Optical Cable (AOC)
• Supported protocol: InfiniBand (QSFP-compatible)
• Cable length: 7 metres
• Performance: Designed for high bandwidth and low latency optical transmission

How to use

Install the BlueOptics QSFP-AOC-7M-CO-BO by inserting each QSFP male connector into the corresponding QSFP port on your networking device or server until it seats securely. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it clear of sources of mechanical strain. No external power or separate transceivers are required when used with compatible QSFP ports; the active optical components are integrated into the cable ends. Verify link status on connected devices to confirm successful negotiation and proper data rates.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, avoid exceeding the cable’s minimum bend radius, ensure QSFP ports are compatible with active optical cables, and keep firmware or driver software on connected devices up to date to maintain optimal link negotiation and performance.
