BlueOptics CBL-QSFP-40GE-1M-BO InfiniBand optický kabel 1 m samec/samec

The BlueOptics CBL-QSFP-40GE-1M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 1m Male/Male is a 1-metre active optical cable with QSFP connectors designed for high-speed short-range links. It implements a QSFP-to-QSFP connection using multi-mode fibre and integrates optical transmitters and receivers at both ends to support data rates up to 40 Gbit/s over a 1 m span. The cable follows MSA-compatible QSFP form-factor conventions and is suited for rack-to-rack or in-rack connections in dense networking environments.

Advantages

This BlueOptics AOC provides a compact, low-latency connection with the convenience of a pre-terminated cable, eliminating the need for separate transceivers and patch cords. Its Male-to-Male QSFP termination ensures direct plug-and-play compatibility with QSFP ports that accept active optical cables. The integrated optical transmitter and receiver design reduces signal conversion points and supports multi-protocol traffic including Ethernet and Fibre Channel over Ethernet at aggregate speeds up to 40 Gbit/s over the specified 1 m length.

How to use

Power down or follow hot-plug guidelines for your networking equipment if required by the vendor. Insert each QSFP connector into matching QSFP ports on the devices to be connected until the retention mechanism engages. Verify link status through the devices’ management interfaces and confirm negotiated speed and protocol support. For best results, route the cable to avoid tight bends and maintain the recommended bend radius for multi-mode optical cables.

Recommendations

Use this BlueOptics 1 m QSFP AOC in environments where vendors support third-party active optical cables that are MSA-compliant. Avoid exposing the cable to excessive tensile stress, sharp bends, or sources of electromagnetic interference, and consult equipment documentation for hot-plug procedures and compatibility notes.
