BlueOptics CBL-QSFP-40GE-3M-BO InfiniBand/optický kabel 3 m samec/samec

The BlueOptics CBL-QSFP-40GE-3M-BO InfiniBand/fibre optic cable is a 3‑meter active optical cable (AOC) with QSFP to QSFP male connectors. Designed to meet MSA QSFP form‑factor requirements, this BlueOptics cable supports multi‑mode fibre transmission with integrated transmitter and receiver modules at each end. It is intended for high‑speed short‑reach interconnects and is compatible with systems that accept the Dell CBL-QSFP-40GE-3M 40GBASE‑SR4 AOC standard.

Advantages

The cable provides a compact, plug‑and‑play solution for 40G high‑speed links over short distances, reducing the need for separate transceiver modules and patch cords. Integrated optics and QSFP connectors simplify installation and help maintain consistent signal integrity across the full 3 m length. Compatibility with major platforms that support the referenced 40GBASE‑SR4 AOC ensures predictable performance in Ethernet, Fibre Channel over Ethernet or SDH/SONET environments.

How to use

Insert each QSFP connector into the QSFP ports of the network devices until the connector latches. Ensure devices are powered off or follow hot‑swap guidelines from the device manufacturer if connecting while powered. The cable is plug‑and‑play when used with hardware that supports the compatible 40GBASE‑SR4 AOC; the integrated transceivers handle optical signalling and link negotiation according to the connected devices' capabilities. Confirm link status in device management interfaces after installation.

Recommendations

Use this 3 m BlueOptics AOC for short‑reach, high‑density 40G links inside racks or between adjacent racks. Avoid tight bends and excessive pulling force; maintain minimum bend radius for the cable to preserve optical performance. Verify device compatibility with the 40GBASE‑SR4 AOC profile before deployment and perform basic link tests after installation.
