BlueOptics H-SFP+AOC3M-BO InfiniBand optický kabel 3 m samec/samec

The BlueOptics H-SFP+AOC3M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 3 m Male/Male is a 3-meter active optical cable (AOC) with SFP+ to SFP+ connectors designed for high-speed data interconnection. It incorporates transceivers at both ends and uses multimode fiber to carry optical signals compliant with 10GBASE-SR and InfiniBand performance requirements. The cable is intended for short-reach links in data centres and high-performance computing racks where reliable 10 Gbps connectivity is required over a 3 m distance.

Advantages

This AOC provides electrical isolation and reduced electromagnetic interference compared with copper alternatives while maintaining low latency and high throughput. As an SFP+ form-factor solution it is hot-pluggable and compact, simplifying port-density demands in switches, routers and storage systems. The integrated transceiver design removes the need for separate optical modules and patch cords, reducing points of failure and simplifying rack cabling.

How to use

Insert each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ ports of the devices to be connected, ensuring the connectors are aligned and fully seated. Devices should be powered according to their manufacturer instructions; the AOC is hot-pluggable and can be inserted or removed while systems are running if supported by the equipment. Verify link status indicators on connected devices and configure network settings (speed/duplex, VLAN, zoning or link aggregation) as required by your environment.

Recommendations

Use the cable within rack or cabinet environments to avoid excessive bending and mechanical stress; follow minimum bend radius guidelines for multimode AOC assemblies. Confirm device compatibility with SFP+ AOC modules and, when deploying across managed equipment, verify firmware or vendor support for third-party AOC modules to ensure full feature operation.
