BlueOptics CBL-QSFP+AOC-1M-BO InfiniBand optický kabel 1 m samec/samec

The BlueOptics CBL-QSFP+AOC-1M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 1m Male/Male is a 1‑metre active optical cable (AOC) with QSFP connectors designed for high‑speed interconnects in data centers and network equipment. The cable implements QSFP to QSFP connectivity on multimode fibre and supports 40G data rates in line with 40GBASE‑SR4 applications. It integrates optical transmitter and receiver modules in the cable assembly to provide a plug‑and‑play solution for compatible QSFP ports.

Advantages

The BlueOptics AOC offers low-latency, high-throughput connectivity for short-range links while eliminating the need for separate transceivers and patch cables. Its QSFP male-to-male configuration simplifies installation between switches, routers and storage systems with QSFP ports. The 1 metre length reduces clutter in dense rack environments and supports common short-reach multimode applications at up to 40 Gbit/s.

How to use

Insert each QSFP connector into the corresponding QSFP port on the devices to be linked, ensuring the connector latch engages and the cable is routed to avoid sharp bends. No separate transceiver configuration is required in most systems; the connected devices should automatically negotiate the supported 40G link when the ports and firmware support the cable. Verify link status LEDs or management interfaces on both devices after installation.

Recommendations

Use this BlueOptics 1 m QSFP AOC for short, high‑speed links inside racks or between adjacent racks. Avoid tight bending near the connector boot, keep the cable clear of airflow obstructions, and confirm device compatibility with QSFP AOC modules and 40GBASE‑SR4 operation before deployment.
