Špachtle KS Tools 911.8116 hmotnost 20 g

The KS Tools 911.8116 putty knife is designed for precise application and smoothing of putty and filler materials. Weighing just 20 g, this lightweight tool is intended for fine finishing tasks where control and tactile feedback are important. The putty knife combines a compact profile with durable construction to provide consistent performance during repair, filling and surface preparation work.

Advantages

The low weight of 20 g reduces hand fatigue during repetitive use and improves maneuverability when working on small or detailed areas. The knife’s construction offers resistance to bending for accurate spreading and smoothing of compounds. Its ergonomic shape enhances grip stability, allowing controlled pressure application and even results on flat and curved surfaces.

Suitable for

• Applying and smoothing putty and filler in small repairs
• Surface preparation and finishing on wood, metal, plaster or automotive panels
• Detail work around edges, seams and trim
• DIY maintenance and professional touch-up jobs

Key specifications

• Weight: 20 g
• Tool type: putty knife for application and smoothing
• Construction: rigid blade designed for accurate compound spread
• Ergonomics: shape optimized for comfortable handling and control
• Recommended materials: suitable for use with putty, filler and similar compounds

How to use

Hold the putty knife with a firm but relaxed grip and apply compound to the work area by drawing the blade across the surface at a slight angle. Use steady, even pressure to spread material thinly and to remove excess. For smoothing, maintain a consistent angle and follow the contour of the surface; for filling, press the blade into seams or holes and level off the excess. Clean the blade after each use to prevent buildup and to maintain crisp edges for subsequent applications.

Recommendations

For best results, use the putty knife on clean, dry surfaces and select a filler compatible with the substrate. When working on larger areas, consider combining this lightweight knife with a wider blade tool to increase efficiency. Store the tool in a dry place and remove residual compound immediately after use to prolong service life.
