• Filling small cracks and gaps in wood, plaster and drywall
• Removing loose material and light scraping
• Fine finishing and feathering of repaired areas before sanding and painting

Key specifications

• Tool type: putty knife for spreading and finishing
• Weight: approximately 70 g for reduced hand fatigue
• Blade profile: slim, flat blade suitable for precise spreading and feathering
• Handle: ergonomically shaped for grip and control during detailed work
• Typical applications: smoothing putty, filling gaps, light scraping

How to use

Hold the putty knife with a firm grip on the ergonomic handle and position the blade at a shallow angle to the surface. Scoop a small amount of putty or filler onto the blade and spread it across the repair area with steady pressure, using long, even strokes to achieve a uniform layer. For filling joints and cracks, press the material into the gap and then scrape off excess with the blade edge. After material sets, use appropriate sanding tools to refine the surface before painting or sealing.

Recommendations

For best results, use compatible putty or fillers suited to the base material and work in temperatures recommended by the filler manufacturer. Clean the blade after each use to prevent dried residue buildup and inspect the handle for secure fit before extended tasks. Store the putty knife in a dry place to maintain blade condition.
