Síťový patch kabel CABLETIME Cat8 S/STP 15 m, černý

CABLETIME Cat8 S/STP 15 m, black is a shielded network patch cable designed for high-speed Ethernet links and short-range data center connections. The S/STP construction combines an overall braid shield with individually foiled pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk, helping to maintain signal integrity over a 15-meter run. This Cat8 cable supports the physical requirements for short-range 25/40 Gbps connectivity where Cat8 performance is specified and is suitable for installations where robust shielding and reliable transmission are required.

Advantages

The cable’s S/STP shielding improves resistance to external interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk compared with unshielded alternatives, which contributes to consistent throughput and reduced packet errors. A 15 m length provides flexibility for rack-to-rack and patching applications without intermediate splices. The Cat8 specification ensures support for higher frequency operation and short-range multi-gigabit links, while the black jacket offers a neutral appearance for professional cabling environments.

Suitable for

• Short-range 25/40 Gbps links in data centers
• Server-to-switch or switch-to-switch rack connections
• High-density network patch panels and structured cabling
• Environments with significant electromagnetic interference where shielding is required

How to use

Install the CABLETIME Cat8 S/STP patch cable by seating the RJ45 connectors firmly into the corresponding ports on network devices such as switches, routers, or servers. Ensure that cable management practices are followed: avoid tight bends (maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius), do not exceed the 15 m run length in a single segment for Cat8 short-range links, and keep the cable routed away from high-power lines where possible even though shielding reduces interference. Inspect connectors for proper seating and test the link with network certification or cable testers if required for critical installations.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use this Cat8 S/STP cable for short interconnects within racks or between adjacent racks in data centers and enterprise network rooms. Combine with properly grounded shielded patch panels and connectors to maintain the intended EMI protection. For runs beyond short-range Cat8 specifications, consider alternative cabling or fiber solutions designed for longer distances.
