Inter-Tech IPC 4U-4408 serverová skříň, 4U Rack, Extended ATX / SSI EEB, bez zdroje, barva: černá (88887191)

The Inter-Tech 4U-4408 Rack Black, Silver is a 4U server case designed for rack-mounted installations. Constructed from steel and finished in a two-tone black and silver scheme, it measures 481 mm (W) x 438 mm (D) x 178 mm (H) and weighs 9.06 kg. The chassis accepts a range of motherboard form factors including ATX, EATX, SSI EEB, Mini-ITX and Micro ATX, and provides flexible storage support with bays for both 2.5" and 3.5" drives. Cooling is aided by two 80 mm rear fans, while front-panel connectivity includes one USB 2.0 and one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port. The case is supplied without a power supply, allowing system builders to choose appropriate PSU solutions for their configuration.

Advantages

The Inter-Tech 4U-4408 combines a compact 4U rack profile with broad motherboard compatibility to support diverse server builds. Its steel construction contributes to durability and structural stability in rack environments. The availability of multiple drive bays for 3.5" and 2.5" drives allows mixed storage configurations for capacity and performance. Dual 80 mm rear fans provide active airflow for heat-sensitive components. Front I/O with USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A offers faster data access for compatible devices while a USB 2.0 port provides legacy connectivity.

How to use

Install the Inter-Tech 4U-4408 into a compatible 19-inch rack or shelf using standard rack-mount procedures, ensuring the unit is securely fastened to prevent movement. Select a power supply that fits the chassis and provides sufficient wattage for your components, and mount it in the designated PSU location. Fit the chosen motherboard, CPU, memory and expansion cards according to the motherboard manufacturer’s instructions. Populate the drive bays with 3.5" HDDs or 2.5" SSDs using the appropriate brackets or trays, and connect SATA and power cables. Connect the rear fans and front-panel connectors (USB and power/reset) to the motherboard headers. Verify airflow direction and clearances before powering on.

Recommendations

For reliable thermal performance in rack environments, maintain unobstructed airflow in front and rear of the chassis, route cables to avoid blocking fan intakes or exhausts, and consider adding external rack ventilation when installing multiple high-density units. Choose a PSU with appropriate connectors and efficiency rating for server use and secure drives with vibration-damping mounts if available.
