Plotové nůžky Black & Decker BEHTS451

The Black & Decker BEHTS451 hedge trimmer is an electric gardening tool designed for routine maintenance of hedges and shrubs. Equipped with a 550 W motor and dual-action cutting blades, it delivers reliable cutting performance while remaining compact and lightweight at approximately 2.65 kg. The tool is intended for domestic garden use where precision, manoeuvrability and operator comfort are priorities.

Advantages

The hedge trimmer combines a mid-range 550 W motor with double blades to reduce vibration and improve cutting efficiency across branches and foliage. Its low weight and ergonomic grip support extended use with less fatigue. The double-action blades contribute to cleaner cuts and minimise snagging, while the electric power source provides consistent performance without the need for fuel or complex maintenance.

Suitable for

• Trimming and shaping residential hedges and shrubs
• Regular maintenance of small to medium-sized garden hedgerows
• Detailed finishing work on borders and ornamental plants

Key specifications

• Power: 550 W electric motor
• Blade type: double-action cutting blades for reduced vibration
• Weight: approximately 2.65 kg for improved manoeuvrability
• Intended use: mains-powered garden hedge trimming

How to use

Before operating, ensure the hedge trimmer is connected to a suitable mains supply and that the power cord and plug are undamaged. Hold the tool with both hands using the main and auxiliary handles, keeping the cutting blades away from the body. Start trimming by making slow, steady passes along the hedge, using sweeping motions to achieve an even finish. Allow the blades to cut through branches without forcing the tool; if larger branches are present, reduce their diameter beforehand with appropriate pruning tools. After use, disconnect from power and clean debris from the blades using a brush or cloth, taking care to avoid contact with the sharp edges.

Recommendations

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves and sturdy footwear when operating the trimmer. Keep bystanders and pets at a safe distance. For best results, trim when foliage is dry and perform regular blade maintenance to maintain cutting performance.
