Optický kabel ROLINE 21.15.9271 1 m LC zelený

The ROLINE 21.15.9271 1 m LC Green is a single-mode OM5 fibre optic patch cable with LC connectors on both ends and a 50 µm core diameter designed for short-range, high-bandwidth data links. Its 1 metre length and green jacket make it suitable for organized rack installations, patch panels and switch interconnects where color coding and compact routing are required. The cable supports high-speed transmission and is intended for use in modern structured cabling environments that demand consistent signal integrity and low attenuation.

Advantages

This OM5 fibre cable provides stable, high-bandwidth connectivity with low insertion loss thanks to its 50 µm core and precision LC terminations. The 1 m length reduces excess slack in dense installations, while the green jacket simplifies identification in multi-fibre bundles and cable management systems. LC connectors on both ends offer a small form factor that is compatible with a wide range of transceivers and patch panel ports commonly used in data centres and enterprise networks.

Suitable for

• Patching between switches and optical transceivers in data centres
• Connections on fibre optic patch panels and distribution frames
• Short-reach links in enterprise LAN and telecom equipment racks
• Organized cabling runs where color-coded identification is required

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM5 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC (both ends)
• Length: 1 m
• Cable jacket color: Green

How to use

Ensure both network devices and intended ports are powered down or follow hot-plugging procedures recommended by equipment manufacturers. Align and insert LC connectors into the corresponding LC ports until the latch clicks; avoid forcing the connector or bending the cable sharply. Route the cable to minimize tight bends and secure it with cable management accessories to prevent strain on the connectors. Test the link with appropriate optical test equipment or network diagnostics to verify signal quality and continuity.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable to maintain minimum bend radius as specified for multimode fibre and avoid contamination of connector endfaces; use dust caps when connectors are not in use and clean endfaces before installation to ensure optimal performance.
