Optický kabel ProXtend ST-ST UPC OS2 Duplex 7M

The ProXtend ST‑ST UPC OS2 Duplex 7M fiber cable is a single‑mode, full‑duplex patch cable designed for long‑distance, high‑bandwidth networks. It features ST connectors on both ends, a 9 µm glass core (OS2) and an LSZH jacket, offering low attenuation and reliable signal transmission for demanding data links.

Advantages

This ProXtend cable provides low signal loss and stable performance over extended distances due to its OS2 single‑mode glass core and UPC polishing. The duplex ST‑ST configuration enables simultaneous bi‑directional communication. The LSZH outer jacket reduces hazardous smoke and corrosive gases in case of fire and the cable is rated for an operating temperature range from -20 °C to 70 °C.

Suitable for

• Long‑distance single‑mode network links
• High‑speed data transmission and backbone connections
• Telecommunications and enterprise network infrastructure
• Fiber patch panels and equipment with ST connectors

How to use

Inspect connectors for dust or damage before use and, if necessary, clean with appropriate fiber‑optic cleaning tools. Plug each ST connector into the corresponding ST port on your equipment or patch panel, ensuring proper alignment and secure bayonet locking. Use the duplex cable to establish full‑duplex links between devices and route the cable avoiding tight bends to maintain minimum bend radius for single‑mode fiber.

Recommendations

The cable is intended for indoor installations and backbone links; avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and outdoor environments unless additionally protected. Follow manufacturer guidance for bend radius and connector cleaning to preserve performance.
