Optický kabel ProXtend ST-ST UPC OS2 Duplex 10 m

The ProXtend ST-ST UPC OS2 Duplex 10M fiber cable is a 10-meter singlemode patch cable with a 9 µm glass core designed for long-distance, high-speed and high-bandwidth network links. Both ends have ST male connectors with UPC polish, and the cable is jacketed in LSZH material to reduce hazardous smoke and fumes. It supports full duplex communication and operates reliably across a wide temperature range.

Advantages

This ProXtend fiber patch cable provides low-loss singlemode transmission (OS2) over long distances, stable full duplex performance with ST-ST UPC connectors, and a durable LSZH jacket for safer deployment in confined or public spaces. The 10 m length and standardized 9 µm core make it compatible with typical singlemode networking equipment.

Suitable for

• Long-distance singlemode fiber links
• High-speed backbone and distribution networks
• Data centers and telecom equipment connections
• Indoor installations where LSZH jacket is required

How to use

Handle the cable by the connectors and avoid bending the fiber beyond its minimum bend radius. Insert the ST connectors into compatible ST ports until they lock. Use one fiber strand for each direction to establish full duplex communication. Ensure connectors are clean before insertion to maintain low-loss performance.

Recommendations

For best performance, keep connector end faces clean, route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress, and choose appropriate transceivers and equipment matched to OS2 singlemode specifications.
