Optický duplexní kabel SC/SC InLine 83502P 50/125µm OM4 2 m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable SC/SC 50/125µm OM4 2m is a duplex multimode fiber patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in modern network environments. With SC connectors on both ends and a 50/125 µm core/cladding structure, this OM4-rated cable supports higher bandwidth and extended reach compared to lower-grade multimode fibers. The 2-meter length provides flexibility for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-patch-panel connections in data centers and enterprise networks.

Advantages

This fiber optic duplex cable delivers stable full-duplex communication with low insertion loss and consistent signal quality across multimode links. The OM4 specification increases modal bandwidth for improved performance with 10 Gigabit and higher-speed multimode transceivers, while the standardized 50/125 µm geometry ensures compatibility with common MMF hardware. The SC/SC connectors offer reliable push-pull coupling and a simple, durable connection method suited to frequent installations and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Interconnects between switches, patch panels and servers in data centers
• Multimode fiber runs for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and short-reach optical links
• Telecommunications rooms and structured cabling backbones
• Laboratory setups and testing environments requiring OM4 performance

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM4
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Connector type: SC to SC, duplex
• Length: 2 meters
• Mode: Duplex multimode
• Typical applications: Short to medium distance high-bandwidth links

How to use

Insert the SC connector ends into compatible SC ports on transceivers, patch panels or equipment, observing correct orientation for transmit and receive channels to maintain full-duplex operation. Avoid sharp bends; maintain the manufacturer's minimum bend radius for multimode fiber to prevent increased attenuation. Route the cable along cable management trays or within conduit as appropriate for the installation environment, and secure connectors with dust caps when not in use to protect endfaces.

Recommendations

Before connecting, inspect and, if necessary, clean the fiber endfaces using proper fiber cleaning tools and procedures. For best performance with OM4 multimode links, pair the cable with matching OM4 transceivers or modules and verify link integrity with optical test equipment after installation.
