Optický duplexní kabel LC/SC InLine 88643P 50/125µm OM4 3 m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable LC/SC 50/125µm OM4 3m is a multimode optical patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in structured networks. It features LC connector on one end and SC connector on the other, supporting full-duplex communication over a 3-metre length. The OM4 grade core with a 50/125 µm geometry provides improved bandwidth and reduced modal dispersion compared with lower OM classes, making it suitable for short- to medium-range high-bandwidth links in racks, patch panels and active equipment.

Advantages

This duplex cable delivers reliable multimode performance with consistent insertion loss and return loss characteristics suitable for data center and enterprise environments. The LC and SC connectors offer compact and robust terminations for dense installations, while OM4 fiber improves bandwidth for 10 Gb/s and higher applications. Its 3 m length balances flexibility for rack-to-rack or shelf-to-equipment connections without excess cable management complexity.

Suitable for

• Patch connections between switches, transceivers and fiber panels
• Data center rack and cabinet interconnects
• High-speed LAN backbones and server uplinks
• Multimode fiber links requiring OM4 performance for 10GbE and 40GbE

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode (OM4)
• Core / cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Connector type: LC (one end) to SC (other end)
• Connectivity: Duplex, full-duplex capable
• Cable length: 3 m
• Typical attenuation: multimode OM4 standard levels at relevant wavelengths
• Jacket: durable outer sheath for indoor use (patching)

How to use

Identify the LC and SC ends and route the 3 m cable between the source and destination ports, ensuring connectors align with the corresponding transceiver or panel ports. Before insertion, inspect connector end-faces for cleanliness and remove dust with appropriate fiber cleaning tools if necessary. Insert LC and SC connectors until they click into place; verify link status on connected devices and, if required, run diagnostics or light-source/power-meter tests to confirm acceptable loss levels.

Recommendations

Store and deploy the cable in indoor environments, avoiding sharp bends and tight bends below the fiber's minimum bend radius. Use cable management panels and tie points to prevent strain on connectors. For optimal performance in high-bandwidth installations, pair OM4 multimode fiber with compatible transceivers and follow industry standards for multimode link design.
