Optický duplexní kabel LC/SC InLine 88641P 50/125µm OM4 1m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable LC/SC 50/125µm OM4 1m is a multimode duplex fiber patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in network infrastructures. With a 50/125 µm core/cladding profile and OM4 grading, the cable is optimized for reduced modal dispersion and improved bandwidth performance over short to medium distances. Connectors are provided in LC and SC formats to ensure compatibility with a wide range of switches, transceivers and patch panels used in data centres and enterprise networks.

Advantages

This OM4 duplex cable offers enhanced bandwidth for 10G, 40G and 100G multimode applications where link performance and low attenuation are important. The LC connector provides a compact duplex interface suitable for high-density installations while the SC connector ensures robust push-pull mating for rack equipment. The 1 m length provides a flexible, low-loss connection for patching between adjacent devices or short tray runs in server rooms.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting switches, transceivers and patch panels in data centres
• High-performance computing cluster links and SAN connections
• Short-range multimode links for 10G/40G/100G Ethernet
• Telecommunication rooms and equipment racks where LC and SC interfaces are used

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• OM rating: OM4 (enhanced bandwidth multimode)
• Connector A: LC duplex
• Connector B: SC duplex
• Length: 1 m
• Polishing/type: Factory-terminated, polished endfaces
• Cable mode: Duplex (two fibers)

How to use

Install the fiber duplex cable by aligning and inserting the LC connector into the LC port on the device and the SC connector into the SC port on the corresponding equipment or patch panel. Ensure connectors are clean and free of dust or debris before mating; use appropriate fiber cleaning tools if necessary. Route the cable without tight bends and avoid excessive pulling force; follow standard fiber handling practices to maintain link quality and minimize insertion loss.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use this OM4 duplex cable for short- to medium-length multimode links and pair it with compatible OM4-rated transceivers and equipment. Regularly inspect connector endfaces and keep slack loops with minimum bend radius respected. Avoid mixing different OM ratings within the same link to maintain predictable optical performance.
