How to use

Set up the SINGER Simple 3223 on a stable, level surface and follow the manufacturer’s threading path for the top thread and the bobbin to ensure correct thread tension. Select the appropriate needle and thread for the fabric you plan to sew, then choose a built-in stitch pattern and adjust stitch length and width as needed. Use the free arm for tubular items like sleeves and hems. Test on a scrap of the same fabric to confirm tension and stitch settings before working on the final piece. Regularly clean the bobbin area and lint traps and replace needles periodically to maintain stitch quality.

Recommendations

Use medium-weight needles and suitable thread for common household fabrics; reduce stitch length and use stretch stitches for knit fabrics. Avoid forcing heavy multiple layers beyond the machine’s intended capacity and perform routine maintenance—cleaning lint and oiling moving parts where specified—to ensure consistent performance.
