Optický kabel EFB Elektronik O7353.2 2 m SC ST tyrkysový

The EFB Elektronik O7353.2 is a 2 m OM3 fibre optic cable with SC and ST connectors, designed for duplex optical links in structured cabling environments. It has a 50 µm core diameter and a turquoise jacket, meeting common industry standards for high-speed data transmission and interoperability with equipment using SC and ST terminations.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable provides low-loss multimode transmission over short to medium distances and supports full duplex communication. The OM3 grade ensures improved bandwidth for 850 nm laser-based equipment, while the combination of SC and ST connectors offers compatibility with a variety of networking devices. The 2 m length and standardized construction simplify deployment in racks and patch panels.

Suitable for

• Short- to medium-distance multimode links in data centers and LANs
• Patch connections between switches, transceivers and patch panels
• Environments requiring SC-to-ST connectivity

How to use

Identify the SC and ST ports on your equipment or patch panel and insert the corresponding connector until it clicks or seats securely. Route the cable without tight bends; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for OM3 multimode fibre. Use cable management accessories to avoid strain on connectors and to keep the run tidy. For best performance, keep connectors clean and cap unused ends when not connected.

Recommendations

Clean connectors before installation, avoid exceeding the bend radius, and verify link performance with appropriate optical test equipment after connecting. Use OM3 fibre for short to medium reach 850 nm laser-based transceivers.
