Lindy 3m LC-ST OM2 50/125 optický patch kabel

The Lindy 3m LC-ST OM2 Fibre Optic Patch Cable is a multimode cable with a 50/125 µm core-cladding profile designed for full-duplex communication. It joins LC and ST connector types to provide a reliable optical link for high-speed data transfer in data centres, telecoms and other network environments. The cable meets OM2 specifications to support increased bandwidth demands and is suitable for standard multimode fibre equipment.

Advantages

Ceramic ferrule connectors reduce signal loss and improve long-term reliability. The LC connector on one end and the ST connector on the other provide compatibility with a wide range of network devices. The 3 m length offers flexibility for rack-to-rack and equipment-to-patch-panel connections while maintaining stable optical performance according to OM2 multimode standards.

Suitable for

• Data centre interconnects
• Telecommunications equipment links
• Patching between switches, servers and patch panels
• Local area network multimode installations

How to use

Ensure both network devices are powered down or have their optical transceivers in receive-only standby before connecting. Align and insert the LC connector into the LC port and the ST connector into the ST port until each connector clicks or seats securely. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress, then power the devices and verify the optical link and data transmission using appropriate network or fibre test equipment.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, maintain bend radii above the manufacturer’s minimum, keep connectors clean and capped when not in use, and use compatible OM2 multimode transceivers. Regular inspection and cleaning of ferrules will help preserve low insertion loss and reliable operation.
