Lindy 1m LC-ST OM2 50/125 optický patch kabel

The Lindy 1m LC-ST OM2 50/125 fibre optic patch cable provides a 1 metre multimode connection with LC and ST terminations. Designed for high-speed data transmission, the cable has a 50 µm core diameter (OM2) and supports full-duplex communication for reliable interconnection of networking equipment. Ceramic ferrules in the connectors reduce signal loss and maintain consistent performance with standard fibre-optic devices.

Advantages

The multimode OM2 construction offers a balance between cost and bandwidth for short- to medium-range links. LC and ST connectors combined on a single patch cable give flexibility when connecting different devices. Ceramic ferrules deliver low insertion loss and stable optical contact, improving long-term reliability in telecom and data center environments.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting switches, routers and patch panels
• Telecommunications and data centre links within buildings
• Short- to medium-distance high-speed network connections

How to use

Ensure transceivers or adapters are powered down before inserting or removing fibre connectors. Align the LC and ST connectors with the corresponding ports and push until a secure latch or bayonet engagement is felt. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the equipment vendor. For duplex links, ensure correct polarity between transmit and receive ports.

Recommendations

Inspect connector end-faces before use and clean with appropriate fibre cleaning tools if contamination is present. Store the cable in a dust-free environment when not in use and avoid excessive bending or tension to preserve optical performance.
