InLine sériový prodlužovací kabel 37 Pin DB37 samec/samec přímý 2m

The InLine DB37 male-to-male serial extension cable provides a straightforward solution for extending connections between devices that use a 37-pin D-sub interface. At 2 meters length and finished in beige, the cable maintains signal continuity for applications that require a longer reach while preserving the standard pinout of DB37 serial ports. It is intended for environments where a robust, passive extension is needed for data and control lines.

Advantages

The cable offers a full 37-pin male-to-male connection that preserves the original wiring and ensures compatibility with DB37 ports. Its 2 m length gives additional distance without introducing active signal conversion, and the neutral beige jacket helps the cable integrate visually in office or industrial installations. The fixed, molded connectors reduce the risk of intermittent contact compared with improvised or temporary adapters.

Key specifications

• Connector type: DB37 male on both ends
• Cable length: 2 meters
• Cable colour: beige
• Contact count: 37 pins
• Cable function: passive serial extension for data/control signals

How to use

Connect one DB37 male connector to the DB37 female port of the source device and the other DB37 male connector to the DB37 female port of the target device or enclosure. Ensure secure mating by tightening any available thumbscrews or fastening hardware on the device ports. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, high-tension points and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. No drivers or configuration changes are required for the cable itself; it functions as a passive wiring extension preserving the existing pinout and signal lines.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use the cable within its 2 m length and avoid bundling it tightly with high-voltage power lines. Inspect connectors for damage before installation, and ensure mating ports are free of debris. If you experience communication errors at longer distances or in electrically noisy environments, consider adding appropriate shielding, line termination, or an active line driver suited to your serial protocol.
