InLine optický kovový adaptér duplex SC/SC MM keramická objímka s přírubou

The InLine Fiber Optical Metal Adapter Duplex SC/SC MM Ceramic Sleeve with Flange is a metal duplex adapter designed for multimode (MM) fiber connections. It provides a secure interface between two SC connectors using a ceramic sleeve and includes a flange for panel or chassis mounting. The adapter is suitable for linking SC-terminated multimode fiber cables in telecommunication and data networking installations.

Advantages

The metal housing and ceramic sleeve deliver stable alignment and low insertion loss for SC/SC multimode connections. The duplex format supports two separate fiber channels in a single compact adapter, and the flange allows fixed mounting to panels or racks. The silver finish provides corrosion resistance and a consistent appearance in installed environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting two SC-terminated multimode fiber cables
• Panel or chassis mounting of SC duplex fiber links
• Telecommunications and local area network (LAN) fiber runs

For panel installation, secure the adapter flange to the panel or chassis using appropriate screws, ensuring the adapter is aligned with the panel cutout. Verify connection integrity by testing optical continuity and insertion loss after installation.

Recommendations

Handle connectors and the ceramic sleeve with care to avoid contamination or damage. Use dust caps when ports are not in use, clean fiber endfaces with appropriate tools before mating, and follow standard fiber-optic installation procedures to maintain performance.
