InLine optický duplexní kabel LC/SC 9/125µm OS2 25m

The InLine Fiber optical duplex cable LC/SC 9/125µm InLine 88656G is a 25-meter OS2 single-mode duplex cable designed for long-distance network links. It features two LC connectors on one end and two SC connectors on the other, with a 9/125 µm core-cladding ratio to support single-mode transmission. The cable supports full-duplex communication and is intended for environments where low attenuation and stable signal quality are required for high-speed data transfer.

Advantages

This fiber optic duplex cable provides low attenuation and consistent single-mode performance across long runs. The combination of LC and SC connectors ensures compatibility with a wide range of network equipment and patch panels. With a 25 m length, it simplifies installation between telecommunications rooms, active equipment and distribution panels without additional splicing. The 9/125 µm fibre construction helps minimize dispersion and signal loss over extended distances.

Suitable for

• Backbone links between network racks and distribution frames
• Connecting single-mode transceivers and switches with LC or SC ports
• Data center and server room installations requiring long-reach fiber runs
• Telecommunications and ISP distribution networks

Key specifications

• Cable type: Duplex single-mode optical fiber
• Fibre type: OS2 (single-mode, optimized for long distance)
• Core/cladding diameter: 9/125 µm
• Connectors: 2 × LC on one end, 2 × SC on the other end
• Length: 25 m
• Transmission mode: Full duplex
• Typical applications: Long-reach data links, backbone and interconnect cabling

How to use

Route the duplex cable along the planned path, avoiding sharp bends and tight radii to prevent microbending losses. Clean connector end-faces before insertion to maintain low insertion loss and reliable signal quality. Plug the LC connectors into the appropriate LC ports and the SC connectors into compatible SC ports or patch panels; ensure correct polarity for transmit and receive pairs to enable full-duplex operation. Secure the cable with appropriate clips or ties, leaving service loops where necessary for maintenance.

Recommendations

Use standard fiber handling practices: avoid kinking, protect connectors with dust caps when not in use, and perform visual inspection or use a fiber tester after installation to verify continuity and acceptable attenuation. For installations in areas with potential mechanical stress, consider additional protective conduit or trunking.
