InLine optický duplexní kabel LC/LC 9/125µm OS2 2 m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable LC/LC 9/125µm OS2 2m is a single‑mode duplex patch cable designed for reliable optical connections in network and communication systems. With LC connectors on both ends and a 9/125 µm core/cladding ratio, this 2 metre cable supports full duplex transmission and is suitable for long‑range single‑mode links. The OS2 fiber type is optimized for low attenuation and stable signal performance in wavelength ranges typical for telecom and data center environments.

Advantages

This duplex LC/LC cable provides low insertion loss and high return loss characteristics typical of OS2 single‑mode fiber, delivering consistent signal integrity over extended distances. Its compact LC connectors allow for high-density deployments in patch panels and networking equipment. The 2 m length offers flexibility for rack‑to‑rack or equipment interconnects while minimizing excess cable slack.

Suitable for

• Single‑mode patching between switches, transceivers and patch panels
• Data centre and telecommunications backbone connections
• Full duplex optical links for high‑speed network equipment
• Long distance point‑to‑point fiber installations within buildings or campus networks

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Single‑mode OS2 (9/125 µm)
• Connector type: LC to LC duplex
• Length: 2 metres
• Transmission mode: Full duplex
• Typical attenuation: optimized for low loss over single‑mode wavelengths
• Cable construction: duplex jacket suitable for patching and rack installations

How to use

To install, route the fiber duplex cable between the LC ports of the devices to be connected, ensuring connectors are clean and free of dust or contaminants before mating. Gently insert the LC connectors until they click into the adapter or port. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable; maintain the manufacturer recommended minimum bend radius. For disconnection, depress the connector latch and pull straight out to prevent damaging the connector ferrule.

Recommendations

Clean connector endfaces with appropriate fiber cleaning tools before each connection and use protective dust caps when connectors are not in use. Label both ends for easy identification in patching environments and store excess cable neatly to prevent microbends that increase attenuation.
