InLine optický duplexní kabel LC/LC 9/125µm OS2 15 m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable LC/LC 9/125µm OS2 15m is a single-mode duplex patch cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in professional network environments. Its 9/125 µm core/cladding geometry and OS2 fiber type provide low attenuation and stable signal transmission over long distances, while the LC/LC duplex connectors enable compact, space-saving connections in patch panels, switches and optical transceivers.

Advantages

This fiber optical duplex cable provides consistent single-mode performance with low insertion loss and high return loss characteristics suited for long-reach links. The LC duplex connectors offer secure snap-in mating and are compatible with standard LC ports. The 15 m length balances reach and manageability for structured cabling, and the OS2 rating targets long-distance, indoor and campus backbone applications where minimal signal degradation is required.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting network equipment in data centers and server rooms
• Connecting optical transceivers and switches with LC interfaces
• Backbone and horizontal cabling in enterprise and campus networks
• Telecommunications links and optical distribution frames

Key specifications

• Fiber type: single-mode OS2
• Core/cladding diameter: 9/125 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC duplex
• Length: 15 m
• Polarity: duplex (simultaneous transmit and receive)
• Typical use: indoor patching, backbone connections

How to use

Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius to prevent increased attenuation. Insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC port until it clicks to ensure secure mating. Verify transmit and receive alignment of duplex pairs when connecting transceivers or patch panels. After installation, test the link using appropriate optical power meters or fiber testers to confirm loss and continuity meet the required link budget.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a clean environment to avoid contamination of connector endfaces. Clean connectors with recommended fiber cleaning tools before mating, and use dust caps when connectors are not in use. For permanent installations, secure the cable with cable management hardware to reduce strain and maintain bend radius.
