InLine Mini Gender Changer 15 Pin HD VGA / S-VGA samec / samice

The InLine Mini Gender Changer 15 Pin HD VGA/S-VGA is a compact adapter that converts a male VGA (D-sub) connector to a female VGA (D-sub) connector. Finished in a durable silver colour, the adapter is designed for use with monitors, projectors and other devices that use the 15-pin HD VGA interface and provides a simple physical conversion without changing signal type.

Advantages

This mini gender changer offers a small footprint for tight spaces and a robust metal-coloured housing for reliable mechanical connection. It maintains the standard 15-pin HD VGA pinout to preserve video signal compatibility and requires no drivers or external power, enabling an immediate plug-and-play connection between VGA-compatible devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting a VGA cable with a male plug to a device or cable requiring a VGA female connector
• Joining two VGA cables or extending VGA runs using an inline adapter
• Temporary or permanent setups with monitors, projectors and older PCs or graphics equipment

Key specifications

• Connectors: 15-pin HD VGA (D-sub) male to 15-pin HD VGA (D-sub) female
• Colour: Silver
• Brand: InLine; MPN: 47714; EAN: 4043718000180

How to use

Align the male VGA plug with the adapter’s female VGA socket and insert firmly until the connector seats. If required, secure any thumbscrews on the cable or device to ensure a stable mechanical connection. To use the adapter in-line, plug the adapter’s male end into the device or cable with a female VGA connector and attach the remaining VGA cable to the adapter’s female side.

Recommendations

Use this adapter with standard analog VGA signals and compatible 15-pin HD devices. Avoid excessive bending or strain on connected cables and ensure thumbscrews are tightened to prevent intermittent contacts. Do not use this passive gender changer to adapt between different signal standards (for example, VGA to HDMI) as it does not perform signal conversion.
