S-VGA kabel InLine 17718 15 HD šedý samec samec 5 m

The InLine S-VGA Cable 17718 is a 5 m male-to-male video cable designed for analog SVGA connections. It uses three single-shielded coaxial conductors for the RGB channels plus seven data lines and features double overall shielding to reduce interference. The cable is equipped with 15-pin SVGA connectors (1:1 wiring) with pin 9 omitted and gold-plated contacts for reliable signal transfer; the connector housings are blue in line with the PC99 standard to simplify port identification.

Advantages

The cable provides stable analog video transmission through dedicated coaxial RGB conductors and additional data lines. Double shielding lowers electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, while gold-plated contacts improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance. The 5 m length offers flexibility for typical monitor, projector and workstation layouts, and PC99-coloured connectors help ensure correct connection.

Suitable for

• Connecting SVGA monitors to PCs or graphics cards
• Connecting projectors with a 15-pin VGA/SVGA input
• Workstation setups where a 5 m cable run is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Connector type: 15-pin SVGA (male–male), 1:1 wiring, pin 9 not connected
• Conductors: 3 single-shielded coaxial lines (RGB) + 7 data lines
• Shielding: double overall shielding
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Product colour: beige/grey

How to use

Locate the SVGA (VGA) ports on the source device and the display, align the 15-pin connectors and insert them firmly into the corresponding ports. Secure any screws on the connector housings to prevent accidental disconnection. Use the 5 m cable length to route between devices while avoiding tight bends; position the cable away from strong sources of electrical noise where possible.

Recommendations

For best signal quality, avoid running the cable parallel to high-current power lines and keep connectors clean. If an adapter or converter is required for a different interface, verify compatibility with analog RGB signals before use.
