InfiniBand/optický kabel BlueOptics XDACBL5M-BL 5 m SFP+ samec/samec

The BlueOptics XDACBL5M-BL InfiniBand/fibre optic cable 5 m SFP+ Male/Male provides a five-metre connection with SFP+ male connectors on both ends for high-speed network links. Designed for short to medium reach connections in data centre and enterprise environments, this cable supports reliable transmission over fibre optic media and is compatible with devices that accept SFP+ transceivers. The product is intended to maintain signal integrity and minimize latency where optical links are required.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable offers a fixed-length 5 m reach with SFP+ male terminations to simplify installation and reduce the need for separate transceiver modules. Its InfiniBand/fibre optic design enables high bandwidth and low-latency performance suitable for clustered servers and storage arrays. The cable construction supports consistent signal quality and helps reduce electromagnetic interference compared with copper alternatives.

How to use

Verify that both network devices accept SFP+ optical connections and that optical interfaces are enabled. Align each SFP+ male connector with the corresponding SFP+ slot and insert until it engages securely; follow device-specific procedures for locking or securing modules if present. After physical installation, confirm link status and configure the network interfaces according to your system requirements. Handle the cable by the connectors and body to avoid stress on the optic elements and keep connector ferrules clean before insertion.

Recommendations

Store and route the fibre optic cable avoiding sharp bends, excessive tension, or crushing; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for optical fibre to preserve performance. Clean connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools prior to installation and verify link integrity with device diagnostics or network monitoring tools.
