InfiniBand/optický kabel BlueOptics XDACBL3MA-BL 3 m SFP+ samec/samec

The BlueOptics XDACBL3MA-BL is a 3 m InfiniBand/fibre optic direct attach cable with SFP+ male-to-male connectors, designed for short-range high-speed links in rack and adjacent-rack environments. This cable supports 10G data rates over a twinax copper/active DAC construction and follows SFP+ MSA guidelines to ensure interoperability with major switches, routers and storage hardware that accept SFP+ direct attach connections.

Advantages

The cable provides reliable 10G connectivity with a 3 m reach, low latency and low power consumption compared with longer optical links. Manufactured to MSA-compliant mechanical and electrical specifications, it is compatible with hardware platforms that support SFP+ direct attach cables. Quality components and testing for compatibility reduce the likelihood of failures and support long service life in data center deployments.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics XDACBL3MA-BL by inserting each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on the devices to be linked, ensuring the connectors are fully seated and any retention clips are engaged. Verify that both devices support SFP+ direct attach cables and configured link parameters (speed/duplex) accordingly. Monitor the link status on both devices after connection and consult device logs or management interfaces if auto-negotiation does not complete.

Recommendations

For best results, use this 3 m SFP+ direct attach cable for short, fixed rack-to-rack connections in controlled data center environments. Avoid routing the cable near high-power or high-interference equipment, and ensure bends respect the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius. If you require longer distances or optical isolation, consider using appropriate fiber optic transceivers and patch cabling instead.
