InfiniBand/optický kabel BlueOptics QSFP-H40G-AOC50M-BO 50 m samec/samec

The BlueOptics QSFP-H40G-AOC50M-BO InfiniBand/fibre optic cable 50 m Male/Male is a 50-metre active optical cable with QSFP-to-QSFP male connectors, designed for high-speed 40 Gbps links over multimode fiber. It follows industry MSA-compatible QSFP form-factor conventions and integrates optical transmitter and receiver modules in each connector end to enable direct, low-latency optical connections between compatible network devices in data center and high-performance computing environments.

Advantages

This active optical cable delivers 40G data rates over a 50 m reach while maintaining signal integrity through integrated transceivers on both ends. The QSFP male-to-male connectivity provides a compact, low-power alternative to discrete transceivers plus fiber patch cords, reducing cabling complexity and saving rack space. Compatibility with standard QSFP interfaces allows straightforward integration into switches, routers and storage systems that support QSFP AOC modules.

How to use

Install by inserting each QSFP male connector into the corresponding QSFP port on compatible network equipment until it latches. Ensure both devices support QSFP active optical cable modules and are powered off or follow hot-plug guidelines from the equipment vendor when connecting. After connection, verify link status and negotiated speed on the devices' management interfaces. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure it to prevent undue strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For best results, use this 50 m AOC within the same equipment room or adjacent racks, avoid bending below the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius, and confirm device compatibility with QSFP AOC modules to ensure full 40G operation.
