BlueOptics H-SFP+AOC50M-BO InfiniBand optický kabel barva aqua samec/samec

The BlueOptics H-SFP+AOC50M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable Aqua colour Male/Male is a 50-metre active optical cable with SFP+ to SFP+ connectors designed for high-speed interconnects in data centres and high-performance computing environments. It implements a 10GBASE-SR compatible active optical link over multimode fibre with a transmitter and receiver integrated at each end, providing a factory-terminated, low-latency connection suitable for short-reach links where consistent 10 Gbit/s performance is required.

Advantages

This active optical cable delivers a standardized SFP+ form-factor interface for direct device-to-device connections without separate transceivers or patchcord assemblies. The integrated transmitter/receiver pair reduces connector count and simplifies installation while maintaining protocol support for Ethernet, Fibre Channel over Ethernet and SDH/SONET up to 10 Gbit/s. The 50 metre length balances reach and manageability for rack-to-rack and aisle-level connections, and the Aqua-coloured jacket provides clear identification for multimode InfiniBand or 10GBASE-SR links.

How to use

Insert each SFP+ connector into the matching SFP+ port on the two devices to be connected, ensuring correct port seating and that both devices support SFP+ AOC modules of this type. No separate transceiver or fibre patch panels are required. After insertion, verify link status on each connected device and confirm negotiated speed at 10 Gbit/s where supported. Handle the cable by the connector strain-relief areas and avoid tight bends along the multimode fibre segment to preserve signal integrity.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short-reach, high-bandwidth links within racks or across adjacent racks. Confirm device compatibility with SFP+ AOC modules and check link speed and protocol support (Ethernet, Fibre Channel over Ethernet or SDH/SONET) in the equipment documentation before deployment.
