InfiniBand optický kabel BlueOptics QSFP-100G-AOC-20M-BO 20m samec/samec

The BlueOptics QSFP-100G-AOC-20M-BO is a 20‑metre Active Optical Cable (AOC) with QSFP28 male connectors on both ends, designed for InfiniBand and 100G Ethernet links in data center and high‑performance networking environments. It uses multi‑mode fibre with integrated optical transmitters and receivers to support short‑reach 100GBASE‑SR4 class transmission over a 20 m distance, providing a factory‑assembled optical connection that eliminates the need for separate transceivers and fibre patching.

Advantages

The cable delivers a direct QSFP28‑to‑QSFP28 connection with low latency and immunity to electromagnetic interference, suitable for high‑density rack and switch interconnects. Built to MSA QSFP28 physical and electrical interface guidelines, it supports digital diagnostics monitoring for remote status and fault analysis. As an assembled AOC, it reduces installation time and the need for additional patching or cleaning of fibre connectors.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics QSFP‑100G‑AOC‑20M‑BO by inserting each QSFP28 connector into compatible QSFP28 ports on your switches, routers or server network adapters while the equipment is powered off or following the host vendor’s hot‑plug guidance. Confirm link status and DDM/DOM availability through the host management interface. Because the cable is pre‑terminated and polarity‑correct, no additional patching or fibre cleaning is required beyond normal port maintenance.

Recommendations

Verify that the target hardware explicitly supports QSFP28 AOCs and the 100GBASE‑SR4 or InfiniBand protocol in use. Ensure adequate bend radius for the 20 m multi‑mode cable during routing, and use host diagnostics to monitor parameters such as temperature, laser output and received power to aid troubleshooting.
