InfiniBand/optický kabel Cisco SFP-25G-AOC10M= 10 m SFP28 samec/samec

The Cisco SFP-25G-AOC10M= is a 10‑meter active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 male connectors on both ends. It provides 25 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity in a compact SFP28 form factor and is designed for data center and high-performance computing networks where high bandwidth and low latency are required.

Advantages

This active optical cable delivers native 25G performance with low latency and reduced power consumption compared to some copper alternatives. The SFP28 male/male configuration allows direct connection between compatible switch ports or host adapters without external transceivers. At 10 m length, the cable supports flexible rack-to-rack or within-rack interconnects while maintaining signal integrity over longer distances than short-reach copper solutions.

Suitable for

• Data center switch-to-switch links
• Server or host adapter connections in HPC clusters
• Top-of-rack to aggregation links within 10 m
• High-bandwidth, low-latency interconnects in storage and compute fabrics

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into compatible SFP28 ports on network switches, servers, or host adapters until the latch clicks. Ensure ports are powered down or follow hot‑swap procedures recommended by the equipment vendor if required. After connection, verify link status and negotiate speed in device management interfaces. Use appropriate cable management to avoid sharp bends and maintain minimum bend radius specified by the equipment.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, match the cable to SFP28‑capable ports and check compatibility lists from Cisco or your hardware vendor. Keep the cable within its 10 m length rating, avoid excessive bending or tension, and store protective dust caps when connectors are not in use.
