BlueOptics SFP28-25G-AOC5M-BO InfiniBand/optický kabel 5 m samec/samec

The BlueOptics SFP28-25G-AOC5M-BO is a 5 m Active Optical Cable (AOC) with SFP28 connectors at both ends, designed for 25G data transmission over multimode fiber. It implements SFP28 form-factor connectivity and supports 25GBASE-SR4 class operation for short-reach, high-bandwidth links in data centers and network equipment that accept SFP28 AOC modules. The cable integrates transceiver electronics and optical transmitters/receivers on each end to enable direct plug-and-play fiber connections without separate transceivers or patch cords.

Advantages

This 5 m BlueOptics AOC provides a pre-terminated optical link that reduces insertion points and potential signal loss compared with discrete transceivers and patch cords. Active transceiver electronics and digital diagnostic monitoring (DDM/DOM) support real-time reporting of supply voltage, laser bias, transmit power, receive power and temperature when the host hardware exposes the monitoring interface. As an SFP28 to SFP28 solution rated for 25G, it supports simultaneous transmit and receive optical channels and is built to industry MSA form-factor standards for physical compatibility with SFP28 ports.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics SFP28-25G-AOC5M-BO by inserting each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 slot on the network devices until the latch engages. Ensure both devices support SFP28 AOC modules and, if monitoring is required, confirm the host firmware exposes DDM/DOM parameters. No separate transceivers or fiber patch cables are needed; the pre-assembled AOC provides the complete link. Verify link speed and port configuration in the device management interface after installation.

Recommendations

Handle the cable by the connector housings when plugging and unplugging; avoid tight bends and mechanical stress along the fiber section. Use this AOC for short-reach links within racks or adjacent racks where a 5 m length is appropriate. Confirm compatibility with your hardware vendor’s supported list for SFP28 AOC modules to ensure full functionality of features such as DDM/DOM.
