BlueOptics ET7402-AOC-7M-BO InfiniBand optický kabel 7m QSFP28 samec/samec

The BlueOptics ET7402-AOC-7M-BO InfiniBand fibre optic cable 7m QSFP28 Male/Male is a 7-metre active optical cable (AOC) with QSFP28 connectors on both ends, designed for high-speed connections in data centres and networking environments. It integrates transmitter and receiver modules on each end and uses multimode fibre to support short-reach, high-bandwidth links. The cable follows MSA-compatible QSFP28 form-factor standards and is intended for systems that accept QSFP28 male-to-male AOC connections.

Advantages

This 7m QSFP28 AOC provides a factory-integrated optical solution that eliminates the need for separate transceivers and fibre patch cords, simplifying deployment and cable management. The integrated transmitter/receiver design reduces signal conversion points and supports high-throughput applications up to 100G over a short-reach multimode link. Compatibility with QSFP28 ports and adherence to MSA form factors make it suitable for a wide range of switches, routers and storage systems that support the corresponding AOC type.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics ET7402-AOC-7M-BO by inserting each QSFP28 connector into the corresponding QSFP28 port on networking equipment, ensuring the connector latch engages. No separate transceivers or patch cables are required. Ensure both ends are inserted into devices that support QSFP28 AOC modules and power on equipment following the vendor's standard procedures. Verify link status and speed through device management interfaces and monitor for any link errors after deployment.

Recommendations

Use the cable for short-reach, high-bandwidth links inside racks or between adjacent racks; avoid tight bends and maintain recommended bend radius for multimode AOC assemblies. Confirm device compatibility with QSFP28 AOC modules and consult device documentation if vendor interoperability lists are required.
