XTAR D40 ZOOM is a professional dive flashlight designed for varied lighting needs during underwater exploration. Whether you are hunting lobsters off the California coast, navigating tight cave systems, night diving, or shooting underwater videos, the D40 ZOOM adapts to any situation.

With smooth beam angle adjustment from ultra-narrow 4° to ultra-wide 77°, it allows seamless transition between focused spot lighting and wide flood lighting - offering true versatility in one device.

Combined with a high-capacity USB-C 21700 battery, it eliminates the need for external chargers - ideal for liveaboard trips or long dive expeditions. Combining high power, long runtime and intuitive controls, the D40 ZOOM is perfect for recreational and technical divers as well as underwater photographers.

• Adjustable beam 4°–77°

One flashlight instead of two. The D40 Zoom perfectly replaces both a focused-beam flashlight and a flood flashlight. It lets you illuminate tight caves and light a wider scene while recording video. All thanks to the adjustable focus, which is at your fingertips - just twist the adjustment ring at the flashlight head.

• Max 1600 lm, 3 lighting modes

Choose one of several brightness levels or strobe mode for emergencies or signalling. Maximum beam distance 700 m.

• High 1600 lm: 2.3 h
• Easily handles low visibility conditions.
• Medium 800 lm: 3.7 h
• Balance between brightness and runtime, ideal for longer dives.
• Strobe 800 lm: 7.3 h
• For signalling or deterring aggressive marine life in emergencies.
• No charger? No problem!

A USB-C 21700 battery is included. Just plug it into any smartphone charger or USB port on a computer - no need to bring bulky chargers on dive trips.

• Clear power indicator

An LED above the switch lets you check the remaining battery level at a glance.

• Green LED (steady) - fully charged
• Red LED (steady) - 30 min of light remaining
• Red LED (flashing) - 10 min of light remaining
• Easy operation, safe locking

The switch has a clear tactile response even with thick gloves. A mechanical lock prevents accidental activation in a gear bag or underwater.

• Single click
• Switch between high 1600 lm and medium 800 lm.
• Long press
• Switch to strobe mode (another single click returns to high 1600 lm)
• Rotate 90° to the left
• Switch to lockout mode (light can be locked in any mode)
• New, improved temperature control technology

Built-in intelligent temperature control directly senses the LED temperature, effectively preventing overheating while extending LED life and flashlight runtime.

• Designed for 100 m depth
• You don't have to worry about diving too deep.
• Compact head, better balance for video recording

The lamp head is much smaller than in similar models, reducing front weight when mounted in an underwater camera cage system, providing better balance and stability underwater.

• Warning!

Use the flashlight according to the manufacturer's instructions. Read the user manual before use.

Do not shine the light directly into eyes. The device may heat up during operation - contact with the light source or flashlight head may cause burns.

Keep away from children. Do not leave the flashlight on unattended or near flammable materials.

Detailed safety information can be found in the manufacturer's manual.
