Všesměrová anténa DeLOCK 88898

The DeLOCK 88898 is an omni-directional wireless LAN antenna designed for devices with an RP-SMA interface. It operates across dual frequency ranges (2.4–2.4835 GHz and 5.15–5.875 GHz) and delivers up to 5 dBi gain in a compact black housing (21.6 mm × 21.6 mm × 182 mm).

Advantages

The antenna supports multiple IEEE 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/h), providing compatibility with a wide range of Wi‑Fi equipment. Its RP‑SMA connector enables straightforward connection and installation, while the omni‑directional design offers broad signal coverage suitable for general wireless networking tasks.

Suitable for

• Extending or replacing antennas on routers and access points with RP‑SMA sockets
• Improving Wi‑Fi signal coverage in small to medium indoor spaces
• Use with wireless adapters and devices that support 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands

• Antenna gain (max): 5 dBi
• Connector: RP‑SMA
• Supported standards: IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/h
• Colour: Black
• Dimensions (W × D × H): 21.6 mm × 21.6 mm × 182 mm
• Brand / MPN / EAN: DELOCK / 88898 / 4043619888986

How to use

Locate the RP‑SMA socket on your device, align the antenna’s RP‑SMA connector and screw it in gently until secure. Position the antenna vertically for general omni‑directional coverage. Ensure the device is powered off or follow the manufacturer’s safety instructions for hot‑swap connections if supported. After installation, verify wireless operation and adjust antenna orientation if needed to optimize signal strength.

Recommendations

The antenna is intended for indoor use with compatible RP‑SMA devices. For best performance, avoid placing it near large metal objects or sources of strong electromagnetic interference. If extending coverage over larger areas, consider multiple access points rather than relying on a single antenna.
