Vertiv IntelliSlot RDU101 interní Ethernet 100 Mb/s

The Vertiv IntelliSlot RDU101 internal Ethernet module enables wired network connectivity and monitoring for compatible Vertiv equipment. Designed for integration into Vertiv systems, the RDU101 provides web access and transmits data via SNMP and Modbus TCP. Environmental sensor readings are available through the same interfaces, allowing centralized monitoring of device and environmental status.

Advantages

The RDU101 supports a 100 Mbit/s Ethernet interface in a compact internal module with a black housing. It offers reliable, standardized protocols (SNMP and Modbus TCP) for integration with management platforms such as Trellis Enterprise, Trellis Power Insight and LIFE Services, enabling centralized data collection and remote access to device and sensor information.

Suitable for

• Data centers requiring networked monitoring of power and environmental equipment
• IT rooms and server racks where remote access to UPS and infrastructure status is needed
• Integration with network management systems using SNMP or Modbus TCP

Key specifications

• Connectivity technology: Wired
• Interface: Ethernet
• Maximum data transfer rate: 100 Mbit/s
• Product colour: Black
• Weight: 0.2 kg
• Model / MPN: RDU101

How to use

Install the IntelliSlot RDU101 into the compatible internal slot of the Vertiv device following the device's installation instructions. Connect the module to the local network via an Ethernet cable, configure network settings (IP address, gateway, DNS) and enable SNMP or Modbus TCP on the device as required. Add the device to the chosen management platform (for example, Trellis Enterprise or Trellis Power Insight) to start receiving telemetry and environmental sensor data.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use a stable wired Ethernet connection and assign a fixed IP or reserve an address via DHCP. Ensure firmware and management software are kept up to date and secure SNMP/Modbus access using appropriate network controls.
