USB 3.0 samec/samice A/A kabel DeLOCK 82540 3m modrý

The DeLOCK USB 3.0 male/female A/A cable (3 m) extends a USB A connection while supporting SuperSpeed data transfer rates up to 5 Gbit/s. The cable uses USB-A connectors on both ends and remains backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices. Its blue jacket provides a visible, durable connection solution for extending USB peripherals and hosts.

Advantages

The cable supports USB 3.0 SuperSpeed transfers up to 5 Gbit/s and maintains compatibility with older USB standards (USB 2.0/1.1). With a 3 m length it allows greater placement flexibility for devices and peripherals. The A-to-A male/female configuration enables simple extension of existing USB A cables without additional adapters.

Suitable for

• Extending the reach of USB A peripherals (keyboards, mice, external drives)
• Connecting devices where the host and peripheral use USB A ports
• Temporary or permanent cable routing in workstations and home setups

Key specifications

• Brand: DELOCK
• Model / MPN: 82540
• Connector 1: USB A (male)
• Connector 2: USB A (female)
• Cable length: 3 m
• Data transfer rate: up to 5 Gbit/s (USB 3.0 SuperSpeed)
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Insert the male USB A plug into the host or extension cable and connect the female USB A end to the device or to a cable with a male USB A connector. Ensure connectors are fully seated to maintain signal integrity. Use standard USB handling: avoid excessive bending near connector ends and secure connections to prevent strain.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable for USB 3.0-capable devices to achieve SuperSpeed rates. When connecting older USB 2.0/1.1 devices the transfer rate will default to the lower standard. Avoid running the cable near strong electromagnetic sources and do not exceed intended flexing to prolong service life.
