Toslink optický adaptér ShiverPeaks BS69055

The ShiverPeaks Toslink Fibre Optic Adapter BS69055 provides a compact solution for digital audio connections using a TOSLINK connector. Designed to transmit optical signals with minimal loss, the adapter supports common digital audio formats and presents a black and grey, low-profile housing that fits typical AV setups. Its construction emphasizes stable signal transfer between source and playback devices while offering a small footprint for portable or fixed installations.

Advantages

The adapter delivers reliable optical audio transmission with reduced signal attenuation thanks to precise connector alignment and quality materials. The compact casing and lightweight design make it easy to carry or integrate into crowded AV racks. Durable housing and connector components improve resistance to repeated insertion and removal, helping to maintain consistent performance over time.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs to soundbars or home theater receivers
• Linking gaming consoles to audio systems for digital sound output
• Connecting digital audio sources such as CD players or media streamers to amplifiers
• Temporary or portable setups where a compact optical adapter is required

Key specifications

• Connector type: TOSLINK (optical fiber)
• Compatibility: standard S/PDIF-compatible digital audio devices
• Housing color: black and grey
• Form factor: compact, inline adapter
• Construction: durable connector shell designed for repeated use

How to use

Insert the TOSLINK connector of the adapter into the optical output of the source device until it seats securely, then connect the other end to the optical input of the receiving device. Ensure both devices are powered and set to the appropriate digital audio output and input modes. Check that optical ports are aligned and free from dust before connection to minimize signal loss. If necessary, secure the adapter within the cable routing to avoid strain on the connector during use.

Recommendations

Keep optical end caps or covers on when the adapter is not in use to protect the fiber interface from dust and damage. Avoid bending fibre-optic cables sharply near the connector and do not apply excessive force when inserting or removing the adapter to preserve connector integrity and maintain audio quality.
